Days like these

Does everybody have days where they think that they are going crazy?  Not just run of the mill crazy, but completely bat shit nuts?

But then you have a sleep, and you feel better again.

I've had a shitty couple of days emotionally.

On the upside - I think that mania can be ruled out as you generally get the crazy highs as well as the crazy lows.  I just get the lows and back to median range.

Over and out.

I kind of get those. But with me it's more I get kind of edgy and nervous. And then I don't sleep and I kind of wind myself up till it doesn't really take much to give me a full on panic attack.

My solution is generally to get drunk.

Oh yeah, I have many of those crazy days. Days that I am crazy feeling on top of the world and days in which I feel crazy but on the low side....they come and go....

Have you tried getting a boat...

Fingers suggestion seems a good one. get a big fancypants yacht. or just get Fingers to invite you onto his.

my ex is here today, doing his washing. something like that could drive you slightly crazy.

i can feel it coming over me right now in fact.

I tell you, I have nights where I am so fatigued (from my own fault by staying up for six hours with anxiety) that my brain sees things, hears things and then I doze off, wake up and can't remember where I am. In my own house! I told the doctor and she said our brains do indeed do funny things when they are tired or stressed or on high alert.

Baby you need lots of good sleep. It'll pass. You are not going crazy... you have a strong, working mind. You're just in a rough spot is all and it will pass. xxx

Crushed: Yeah, I tend to try and avoid getting trashed when not at my mental best.

FTW: They do indeed, bella. Today, I'm feeling much more okay.

Fingers: Not a big fan of boats, I have to say. Or cars. Or planes. I don't mind trains if they are comfortable, and taking me somewhere I really, really want to go. If not, I don't like them much either.

SK: Thanks little one. But don't blame yourself if you are being kept awake with anxiety - that's only going to add to anxiety! I am so proud of all the things that you have done in the little time that I have known you. You are a beautiful person - inside and out.

TP: Oh no! That would be a def trigger for me too on the edge tipper scale.

Well I'm out of ideas then...

Hmm, perhaps you need to get away. Hey, I have an absolutely crazy idea!! Why don't you take off on a trip around the globe!! Yah, just dooooooo it!

Despite having kidlets, I am still so very envious.

I like your honesty.

Girl, we all feel that way. Sometimes I wonder if somebody's slipped me a tab of acid in my coffee in the morning, I feel so fucked up.

But a good 8 hours can help take the edge off...most things...

Yep, a good nights sleep usually does the trick for me too, although this morning I woke up edgy and irratated. I watched Obama get sworn in, called my GF, made a nice brekky, and now feel much better...

I don't usually get the extreme highs and lows either, but every now and then...

Fingers: It's the thought that matters, darling.

WTWA: You are like so totally full of great advice. You know what. I think I will. :)

Krissy: It's great to hear others peoples war stories...and you are right. Sleep does help...most things! I got L the koala and kangaroo!

Fuse: Obama getting sworn in would lift a mood in no time flat! Pleased you had a good day.
